In each collection, each individual flashcard will have a confidence score to show how confident you are with the material on that flashcard.

  1. Open the collection you would like to view the flashcards from.
  2. When looking at all flashcards in the collection, the confidence score for each card will be shown in the bottom right-hand corner.

What happens if I select a confidence score of 1?

Confidence scores are updated when you complete a review. During a review, you rate each flashcard from 1 to 5 stars — this is what updates your confidence level over time."

If you rate a flashcard 1 star during a review, Luna will give you the opportunity to edit the card.

This is because low confidence doesn't always mean you need more practice or repetition. Sometimes the way information is presented simply doesn't work for the way your brain processes it.

Making small changes to the wording, structure, examples, or level of detail can make information much easier to understand and remember.

If a flashcard isn't clicking for you, try editing it so it makes more sense in your own words. The goal isn't just to memorise information—it's to make it easier for you to learn. 💡
