Card confidence scores explained

In each collection, every card has a confidence score showing how confident you are with that card's material.

To view a card's confidence score

  1. Open the collection you would like to view the cards from.
  2. When looking at all cards in the collection, the confidence score for each card is shown in the bottom right-hand corner.
  3. The confidence score shows as up to five coloured segments. More coloured segments means greater confidence with the material.

What happens if I rate a card 1 star?

Your confidence score updates each time you complete a review. During a review, you rate each card from 1 to 5 stars, and this is what updates your confidence level over time.

If you rate a card 1 star during a review, Luna gives you the option to edit it.

A low confidence score doesn't always mean you need more practice or repetition.

Sometimes the way information is presented doesn't suit the way your brain processes it ✨

Making edits to cards

Making small changes to the wording, structure, examples, or level of detail can make information much easier to understand and remember.

If a card isn't working well for you, try editing it so it makes more sense in your own words. The goal isn't just to memorise information — it's to make it easier for you to learn.💡
